Happy New Year!
We have two great opportunities to connect with fellow planners in the Commonwealth as well as in the region this year!
The first is the annual Spring Conference which is being held at Lake Barkley State Resort Park, May 20 – 22, 2020.
To make reservations, please call the hotel at 1-270-924-1131 and identify yourself as part of the American Planning Association group. The room rates are $79.95 plus tax. Reservations must be made by Friday April 3, 2020.
We are also requesting a call for abstracts for the technical spring program. Please fill out the submittal form and return to Haley James (firstname.lastname@example.org) by February 21, 2020. We have a broad range of experience, background and issues we all deal with in our profession and we’d like to incorporate that into some great sessions to spread our knowledge to our attendees. Please also consider submitting if you have ideas for Law and / or Ethics sessions as we would like to provide CM opportunities in these areas.
The second opportunity will be the OKI Regional Planning Conference being hosted by the Kentucky APA chapter this fall in Louisville, Kentucky. Please save the date and make plans to attend the conference at the Omni Hotel, October 14-16, 2020.
