This position will report to the Director and Assistant Director of the Planning & Zoning Department and will be responsible for:
A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in environmental/natural science, urban planning, geography or similar programs and at least two years of experience in planning, natural resource/land management or related field are required. Applicants must hold a valid, state-issued driver’s license and be physically capable of walking on uneven outdoor terrain in all weather conditions. The Housing Study will help planning commissioners, decision makers, stakeholders, and community members develop a meaningful sense of the housing market as well as understanding of key housing issues impacting Versailles, Midway and Woodford County. The study will provide essential data, analysis, and insights that will support future planning and policy decisions related to housing development and affordability. This project aims to assess the current housing market dynamics, identify trends, and forecast future housing needs for various demographic groups in the area.
