​The Joint Bardstown Nelson County Planning Commission is accepting applications for an experienced professional to serve as the Director of Planning and Zoning. This position will oversee the administration of zoning ordinances, including the review of development proposals, zoning permits, and variances as well as work with developers, architects, and city/county officials to evaluate and guide land use proposals, ensuring compliance with zoning regulations. Applicant must have a Bachelors in Public Administration or closely related field and at least five years of relevant experience, or any combination of experience and education that would provide the level of knowledge required for the position. Starting annual salary is between $95,000 to $130,000.
