Senior Planner responsibilities include developing and maintaining client relationships, planning, and coordinating the overall sequence of tasks so that the project is delivered on time and on budget, as well as tracking the scope and budget. For both projects they are managing and supporting, Senior Planners are responsible for overseeing specific tasks involved in a project such as the development of communications and outreach plans; preparation for public engagement events; facilitating or supporting public engagement events; managing and facilitating process and planning committees, analyzing and presenting research; overseeing the development and maintenance of project websites; producing draft content and overseeing the production of final reports and plan documents​.
