GIS Technician
Salary Range: $32,000 - $36,000 DOQ Georgetown-Scott County, located in the northern Lexington MSA, is offering an excellent opportunity in one of the state’s fastest growing communities. This entry level position updates and maintains the GIS database for three municipalities and County government, and performs cartographic production utilizing ESRI ArcGIS and open source products. Data consists of a wide range of emergency, clerical, political, environmental/physical, development, and other datasets pertaining to government services in Scott County. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in GIS, geography, planning, or related field, and one (1) year of experience preferred.
