You will provide project management and technical expertise in the development and implementation of long range City planning documents and performs some administrative and technical expertise for permitting, zoning and code enforcement. You should possess superior written, verbal, and interpersonal skills, self-motivation and work independently, experience with City and County governance, knowledge of public works, a strong ability to communicate with public officials and general public and collect information, experience facilitating public meetings, proficiency with computers, and the ability to write plans and reports. Sealed qualifications and proposals will be accepted at the Henderson City-County Planning Commission office located at 1990 Barret Court, Suite C, Henderson KY 42420 until 4:00 p.m., June 17th, 2016. This request is for consulting services to evaluate existing land development processes, perform a comparative analysis of similar communities, and develop a community perception survey that examines existing opinions of the land development process and how those opinions were formed. The intent of this request is to retain the services of a qualified consultant under a contract for service to implement the aforementioned plan. The scope of work shall include but not be limited to the outline shown in Exhibit “A” of this request. There is no expressed or implied obligation by the Henderson City-County Planning Commission to reimburse responding firms for any expenses they may incur in preparing their submittals or answering this request.
