The City of Frankfort, Department of Planning and Community Development, is soliciting competitive, sealed responses from qualified consultant firms for the purpose of developing new historic design guidelines for the local Special Capital Zoning District (SC). These are intended to assist property owners to carry out historic property maintenance, design compatible new construction, including additions to historic buildings; and make architecturally sensitive choices when making alterations to the exterior of their property. The guidelines will assist the Architectural Review Board in the review of projects not eligible for administrative approval.
