Community Planner - Oldham County
Oldham County Fiscal Court is accepting applications for Community Planner for the Planning and Development Services Department. Duties include but are not limited to: researches, compiles and analyzes data related to planning issues and specific applications. Provides information to the general public regarding zoning, comprehensive planning, inspections and other related matters. Minimum requirements of a Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university plus or one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. The Clarksville Montgomery County Regional Planning Commission (CMCRPC) is an independent government body established in 1963 by local legislation. A fulltime planning staff employed by the CMCRPC processes and reviews requests for zoning changes, subdivision, design overlay and site plan review, and transportation planning within Clarksville and Montgomery County, Tennessee. Also, the CMCRPC is responsible for carrying out the City and County's short and long-range planning activities.
The Long Range Special Projects Planner works under limited supervision of the Director of Planning, and occasionally the Deputy Director of Planning, to perform professional and technical work on long range local and regional planning. May direct and/or assist in the collection of data for use in various planning studies, projects, or documents. Performs tasks involved in scoping, designing, researching, and carrying to fruition planning or policy related work as assigned. Leads or assists with various plan updates, annexation requests, and helps staff, elected officials, and the public to be better informed on planning-related topics.

The position will be responsible for overseeing Project Development, Business Lending, Public Administration, Transportation, Infrastructure Development, Housing, and Commodity Programs. This job includes supervision of staff and requires expertise with grant writing, contract management, and program administration.
A Bachelor of Science degree in public administration, planning, or a related field is required, along with at least ten years of related experience. Zoning Administrator - Delhi Township, OH
Delhi Township, located in the western portion of Hamilton County, is accepting applications for the position of Zoning Administrator. The Zoning Administrator works under the direct supervision of the Community Development Director and will assume the duties and responsibilities of the Community Development Director in his absence. The Zoning Administrator may assist other Township and Hamilton County departments with respect to matters concerning code enforcement, mapping, and GIS.
