Community Development Special, Water Planning Focus, BRADD

The Barren River Area Development District is a multi-jurisdictional planning and development agency which serves the BRADD area, ten county region. This position aids local governments within the region to enable economic and community growth; assists in obtaining funding for projects; provides project assistance to ensure compliance with funding agencies. Responsibilities include project profiles in statewide database, maintenance of resource information, assistance with broadband expansion and other infrastructure development. The position supports the Barren River Water Management Council and aids individual utilities with project planning and development.  As well as works closely with KIA (KY Infrastructure Authority), local elected officials, and other state agencies. Required: A Bachelors degree in a related field. Experience with state and federal programs is desired.
