​Planner, City of Hendersonville (TN)

​The purpose of this position is to assist in coordinating the planning functions of the department. Successful performance helps ensure that construction in the city meets established standards of quality and safety and sets trends for future growth.  This position reports directly to the Assistant Planning Director.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's Degree in urban and/or regional planning or a related field.
• A minimum of one (1) to two (2) years of progressive experience in City planning in the above related work is required.
• Possession of or ability to readily obtain a valid Driver's License issued by the State of Tennessee for the type of vehicle or equipment operated.
