Planning and Zoning Director - Pendleton County

The Pendleton County Fiscal Court seeks highly motivated candidates for the position of Pendleton County Planning and Zoning Director until 4:00 p.m. on August 2, 2019 at the office of the Pendleton County Judge Executive, Courthouse, 233 Main Street, Room 4, Falmouth, Kentucky 41040.  Minimum requirement is a high school diploma. A college degree and experience in the discipline of planning and zoning is preferred but not required. Salary based on education and experience.  The Pendleton County Fiscal Court also provides healthcare coverage and retirement benefits. 

Specific job description and duties are as follows:
Administer the Pendleton County zoning ordinance, issue zoning permits, citations for zoning violations and conduct field work for zoning compliance.  Act as staff to the Pendleton County Joint Planning Commission and the Pendleton County Board of Adjustments, and when needed, administer the Pendleton County Subdivision regulations.  

Position reports directly to the Pendleton County Judge Executive with input and ultimate authority provided by the Pendleton County Fiscal Court.

Must have knowledge of zoning administration, ability to meet and work well with the public and willingness to progress with suitable training to better perform job functions.
