​Planning Services Coordinator, Hopkinsville KY

Community and Development Services has an opening for a Planning Services Coordinator which will be responsible for Long Range Planning Projects, Studies, and Plans for Hopkinsville and Christian County, Kentucky. The position will perform advanced professional and technical planning assignments in a variety of planning and community development activities. A strong ability to present information and respond to questions from the general public is a plus. 

Qualified candidates will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Planning or a related field with at least seven years (7) years’ experience or a Masters Degree in Planning or a related field with at least five (5) years’ experience. AICP is preferred but not required, but must be obtained within at least two (2) years from date of employment. Starting salary range is $50,000 to $70,000 with a competitive fringe package.
